Apply for our Scholarship

Every year, Farmer’s Union Oil of Southern Valley awards a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Wahpeton, Campbell-Tintah, Breckenridge, Richland 44, Fairmount, or Hankinson High Schools. The scholarship will be issued to the institution the student is attending after the completion of their first high school semester.

Scholarship Requirements:

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wahpeton, Campbell-Tintah, Breckenridge, Richland 44, Fairmount, or Hankinson High Schools.
Applicant’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must be (a) patron(s) of Farmer’s Union Oil of Southern Valley.
Applicant must attend a post-secondary school within 150 miles of Wahpeton or Breckenridge.
Applicant must complete the scholarship application.
Applicant must type a one (1)-page essay about how the applicant’s future plans will positively impact rural America.
Application must be completed and returned by the end of the current year.

The recipient(s) will be announced prior to graduation.
